Is the monopod 5565 head the same head as included with the SmallRig x Potato Jet Tribex CF II Tripod Kit, is it worth getting the tripod too minus the head and swapping heads between them both? or getting both monopod and tripod with the heads included? Or thirdly is there a better heavy duty fluid head that would fit both to support an Fx5 with vmount cage and battery and minima monitor?!

1. The tripod heads used on these two tripods are not the same model. 2. For monopod 5565 and tripod 5755 （SmallRig x Potato Jet Tribex CF II Tripod Kit）, the heads of these two models are mutually compatible. 3. The maximum load capacity of the 5755 tripod head is up to 6 kg, while that of the 5565 is 5 kg. 4. At the moment, we do not have a compatible tripod head with a higher load capacity.

What is the switch for on top of video head underneath camera plate?

This is a switchable anti-detachment post. Adjusting the anti-detachment post towards the center makes the gimbal base compatible with DJI RS quick-release plates. The standard anti-detachment post, located on the outside, is for compatibility with the original quick-release plate or the Manfrotto 501PL quick-release plate.
